Lemi is Growing
Lemi is growing, and that means more specialized mental health care, more areas of expertise, and more ways to find the right support.
Over the past few months, we've welcomed several new therapists to our team, bringing new experience, specialties, and perspectives to our practice. If you haven't visited our team page lately, take a look at their bios. You may find someone whose experience feels like a particularly good fit for what you're looking for.
Growth has also given us a chance to step back and think about what we want Lemi to be.
Care for the whole person
At its heart, Lemi is about looking at the whole person—not just a diagnosis, a symptom, or the reason someone finally decided to ask for help.
We provide therapy and psychiatric care for children, teens, adults, couples and families and autism evaluations for children, teens and adults. Our areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationships, grief, women's mental health, faith concerns, autism, and other challenges that don't always fit neatly into one category.
Our clinicians bring different kinds of training and experience to the work. Some of us have spent years in emergency and crisis settings. Others bring specialized expertise in trauma, relationships, neurodivergence, psychiatric care, and assessment.
That range matters.
Clinical expertise, without losing the human part
Before starting Lemi, I spent nearly a decade working in the ER as a crisis worker. I sat with people during some of the hardest days of their lives, and that experience shaped how I think about mental health care.
When people are overwhelmed, they don't need to be handed a diagnosis and sent on their way. They need someone who can see the bigger picture, help them understand what's happening, and figure out what might actually help.
Sometimes that's therapy.
Sometimes medication is part of the answer.
Sometimes it's an autism evaluation that finally helps someone make sense of a lifetime of experiences.
And sometimes it's simply having a thoughtful person sit with you while you figure out what's next.
That's what we're trying to build at Lemi: specialized mental health care that is clinically grounded, practical, and genuinely human.
What's next
As our team grows, we're excited to offer more ways to help while staying true to what brought us here in the first place.
If you're looking for therapy, psychiatric care, or an autism evaluation—or you're simply not sure where to start—you don't have to figure that part out alone.
Take a look at our new therapists and their areas of expertise. And if you're not sure who or what is the right fit, reach out. We'll help you find a place to start.
This is healing.
